POPCaptions - an After effects Script UI to animate and pop word by word subtitles or captions

Meet POP Captions, a one click solution to animate word by word style captions.

Just select your text layer, and click to make it pop.
Then set keyframes for each word you want to animate

Unfortunately it still not a 100% automated solution but this is the closest one to a non-destructive workflow.
Most of the tools require you to export your video or captions and import and if you have to adjust it may be difficult and you have to make the process again.
With POP Captions you have a totally 100% non destructive workflow, perfect when you need revisions and other stuff.


What's new in version 2.0?

• All the controllers on a single layer (YES MORE ORGANIZED)
• Fixed a bug with the expressions not working with after effects on different languages other than english
• Added the option to animate the captions (I KNOW HOW COOL IS THAT?)
• Font and font size are synced between layers, don't need to touch the background layer anymore
• Added a Checkbox to automatically set up words to pop based on the number of words you have on your text layer
